Dawn service was good on Lone Pine (Fort Direction, South arm)
Getting up and down there was a bit of a struggle, lucky I was camping just down the road. It didn’t help staying up all night making button Squid Levels for Secret Lab either. It was extremely cold on the point but the atmosphere was astounding. The RSL provided a wonderful breakfast and and lunch after both the dawn service and the main one at 11, for a small fee. If you ever want to go to a ANZAC day ceremony I would highly recommend going to the South Arm service, but place aside the entire day cos you are going to need it.
All in all a very enjoyable day.
